RAGBRAI 50 will be wrapping up in Davenport and a new documentary about the race will be premiering in the QC.

Whether or not you'll be dipping your bicycle in the Mississippi River on the last weekend in July, you can still enjoy a new documentary that's been made about Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa, better known as RAGBRAI.

The new film is called "Shift: The RAGBRAI Documentary". It follows the story of three riders as they take on the race and features interviews with two community leaders "as they overcome extreme conditions and personal hurdles to find peace, redemption and clarity while bicycling across Iowa", according to RAGBRAI's website.

Here's the trailer:

The film has already debuted in select theatres across Iowa, but will make it's debut on the weekend that RAGBRAI ends in Davenport.

Where To See The Film In Davenport

You'll be able to catch the documentary at the Putnam Museum on July 28th at 7:00 p.m., July 29th at 1:00 p.m. & 3:30 p.m., and July 30th at 2:30 p.m. You can get tickets for the showings from the Putnam here.

This year marks the 50th year of RAGBRAI. It will end in Davenport the weekend of July 29th & 30th, which is the same weekend that the Bix 7 will take place. So the QC will be a particularly popular place that weekend.
