Pork Tornadoes Drummer To Visit KRNA Morning Show

Mike Shulte will join us Thursday, June 7th, on The KRNA Morning Show. Shulte is best known as the drummer and one of the singers for the Pork Tornadoes. His band will headline Uptown Friday Night this week, at the McGrath Amphitheatre in downtown Cedar Rapids.

Mike will sit down with us this Thursday at 8 a.m. We plan to talk about the success of the Pork Tornadoes, their gig Friday with the Jaycees, his magnificent beard, and his love for cats.

It's looking like this could be the biggest Uptown Friday Night of the year! Doors for the event will open at 5:30 p.m. This is a 21 or older event, and the admission price is just $5. There will be plenty of ice cold drinks from Fleck Sales and hot pizza and other tasty items from Paul Revere's Pizza.

Well Strung will kick-off the music Friday night at 6 p.m. The Pork Tornadoes will follow and play from 7-10. This sounds like a great way to kick-off the weekend!
