Federal authorities and the Cedar Rapids Police are attempting to get stolen guns off the streets. Robbers hit America's 2nd Amendment Firearms store early Saturday morning. Police aren't saying specifically what type of guns were stolen but did say that many were handguns.

Cedar Rapids Police along with Burea of Alcohol, Tabaco, and Firearms and the National Shooting Sports Foundation are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the stolen guns.

The ATF told KCRG TV-9 that they work closely with gun shops to improve safety around guns. Iowa has fewer break-ins than other states because of that.

If you have information about the stolen guns, you're urged to contact the ATF at 1-800-ATF-GUNS. You can also submit a report on the Reportit app. All tips can be made anonymously
