Pokémon GO Night At The Stable

The next home game for the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders will be on Wednesday, November 23rd. This is the day before Thanksgiving, it's also Pokémon GO Night!

I interviewed RoughRider's Vice President Mark Meyer about the Pokémon promotion. He told me they will have a "Battle for the Poke Gym!" Fans are encouraged to dress in Pokémon attire and battle for the Poke Gym during the game. At the end of the 2nd intermission, they will announce which team won the battle. It sounds like a fun promotion!

Video Games ETC will have a table on the concourse, and plan to raffle off a brand new 3DS system. It's the limited special edition Pokémon Sun & Moon version.

Besides all the Pokémon activities, we can't forget about the hockey game! The RoughRiders will battle the Chicago Steel. Tickets are still available at www.ridertownusa.com.

This is what I love most about our hockey team in Cedar Rapids. There is always a fun promotion that surrounds the game. This will be fun, I'm looking forward to it!

I almost forgot, it's also i107-1 night at the Stable. i107.1 is our sister station down the hall from 94.1 KRNA. The team at i107-1 are huge supporters of RoughRider hockey.

Let's hope Cedar Rapids can get a victory on November 23rd, I'll see you there!
