Pearl Jam Delivers Epic 2-Night Stand In Philly (VIDEO)

Pearl Jam isn't even bothering with an opening band during its current North American Tour. Why bother wasting any energy on an appetizer when the main course is so robustly satisfying? The shows have averaged around 3 hours long and 30+ songs every night. The band is known for their great live show and widely varied setlists. After 25 years together, it's amazing that they're still able to bring it at this level.

Pearl Jam played their second of two Philadelphia shows Friday night (10/29) at Wells Fargo Center. A banner was hung in the arena commemorating the band's achievement of 10 consecutive "South Philadelphia Sell-Outs". The band played their 1991 debut Ten in its entirety and in order for the first time at a U.S. concert.

The Ten run-through was the second time this tour Pearl Jam peformed an album in its entirety... I was at the other one! They played Vs. at their Greenville, South Carolina concert on April 16th. In 2014, the band pulled out complete performances of No Code and Yield at Moline and Milwaukee respectively.
