No Lazerfest This Year

The Des Moines Register is reporting that Lazerfest, an Iowa rock festival that originated back in 2002, will not happen in 2016. Past headliners have included Alice in Chains, The Offspring and Stone Sour.

The festival has been held 11 times since 2002, taking a 3-year hiatus from 2004 - '06. There were different Des Moines-area locations for the event throughout the years, including the Seven Flags Event Center in Clive in 2015.
