After Iowa's brutal loss to Florida in the Outback Bowl, most fans would expect a decrease in ticket prices for the next football season. Close, but not quite Hawkeye fans. The University of Iowa did announce that there will be no increase in ticket prices for the 2017 football season. Good thought. Consumer confidence in Iowa football isn't at an all-time high right now.

A general public season ticket for the seven-game home schedule in 2017 will remain $405. Faculty prices will remain at $335 and students at $150. The schedule for next year will feature some big changes. Gone are Iowa State, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Nebraska. But Iowa does pick up Penn State and Ohio State.

The deadline for season ticket renewal is March 31st.
