Newly Remodeled ALDI Grocery Store In Marion To Celebrate With Grand Opening

The ALDI grocery store in Marion has completed its remodel and the results are quite impressive! The store will celebrate the new look with a grand opening celebration on Thursday, July 27th at 8:25 a.m. There will be a golden ticket giveaway, product sampling, and more festivities.

The Marion store remodel is all part of a nationwide plan by ALDI to expand more than 1300 stores across the U.S. by 2020. The company announced earlier this year that it would be investing over $1.5 billion dollars in their stores, with more than $8 million in locations in Cedar Rapids, Waterloo, Dubuque, and surrounding areas.

The newly designed ALDI stores will offer more fresh food options as well as expanded dairy, and bakery sections. The newly remodeled stores will also feature a more modern look with open ceilings, natural lighting, and the use of recycled materials.
