NewBo Music Festival Artist Spotlight: MINT [VIDEO]

Hopefully everybody in the KRNA listening audience has this Saturday, August 8th circled on their calendars. The outdoor concert will feature headliners, Young the Giant and special guest, Allen Stone. Tickets are available now at krna.com.

A total of seven artists will hit the stage at NewBo, including a band from right here in the Hawkeye state: MINT . They’re described as a rock/soul band based out of Des Moines. The band has opened for the likes of Weezer, Fuel and Imagine Dragons. The 3-piece is made up of Bradford Johnson, Christian Peters and Brandon Wade. They released their debut album, Chemical in February 2013, and have a new EP out entitled Murder. Their influences include Radiohead, the Chili Peppers, Jack White and Nirvana.
