Mt. Thrashmore To Have Guest Host This Weekend

Jaymz is out, Eric is in. For one week at least.

Jaymz Larson is off doing one of his other gigs this weekend, so Mt. Thrashmore is going to sound a little bit different. I, Producer Eric Stone, have been asked to pilot the plane this Saturday night from 7-9 p.m. on 94.1 KRNA with Curt Burgess!

It's going to be a blast, but it almost didn't happen. I was hesitant when Jaymz asked me. I was "nervous" and thought I'd be "too busy".  But after everyone LOL'ed for a few minutes, Curt sealed the deal for me with this selling point: "we can roast the _____ out of Jaymz together!" Hell yes, I am totally in.

Actually, who can do justice to Jaymz?! We'll try to be really nice to the host with the most in his absence, and I'll do my best to fill his shoes. I can definitely hold my own on the '80s hair side of the coin, but will rely heavily on Curt's expertise when it comes to the "Thrash" part of the equation. John Tesh will be nowhere to be found.

We've been buddies for a long time and I'm not some rookie at this radio thing. I've also got Jaymz' blessing and encouragement, so I think we'll take care of business just fine. I hope you'll tune in and enjoy. If not, don't worry, Jaymz will be right back on the show next weekend. Succeed or fail on my part, you'll definitely hear about it at length on the morning show next week.
