‘Move It, Dig It, Do It’ with the Iowa Children’s Museum
I have a 3-year-old at home who absolutely LOVES construction equipment. One of his favorites is the excavator. It’s also one of his mom’s and my favorite things to hear him say “excavator,” but that’s beside the point.
If your kids love big construction equipment, or just large vehicles in general, you need to take them to the Iowa Children’s Museum for their “Move It, Dig It, Do It” event.
According to the Iowa Children’s Museum website:
Move It! Dig It! Do It! is a community wide, educational, fun-filled day focused on big equipment that moves providing a unique family entertainment experience! This special event allows families an up-close look at large construction and farming equipment, big trucks, and emergency vehicles, as well as dozens of games and activities to explore.
The event is free and sponsored by the City of Coralville, the University of Iowa Community Credit Union, Coral Ridge Mall, L.L.Pelling Co., Don Hummer Trucking and Braun Intertec.
