With the Dec. 31 conclusion of Motley Crue's final tour looming, one question remains: Where do they go from here? Click through the above gallery for answers.

We could expect a series of exciting solo projects, giving Motley Crue fans multiple new albums to fill the void. But Vince Neil has also cautioned against anyone misconstruing this goodbye jaunt. The band is most certainly not breaking up, just packing it in as far as live shows go.

So there remains a chance for new music from the original quartet. Coupled with the possibility of a big-screen version of The Dirt bio, continued merchandising deals and the promise of a more aggressive push to get their music into other media projects, and it becomes clear that Motley Crue aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

“We want to keep extending our brand into different places, into movies and soundtracks,” Nikki Sixx has said. “Our music will live on through licensing, and our brand lives on through merchandise, and new generations will get to wear our clothing and our T-shirts and stuff that’s associated with us. … That’s so cool. And besides, whatever we do as Motley Crue, what about what each guy’s gonna do, individually? That’s really exciting.”

Indeed, Sixx and onetime Crue singer John Corabi have been in the studio and on the road with regular working bands. Neil has become quite the businessman, even with a notable setback. And Tommy Lee's idiosyncratic solo career could legitimately take him just about anywhere. We also check in on the possibility of a couple former Motley Crue collaborators working together again and on the life and legacy of Lee's replacements as we run down where Motley Crue go from here.
