After all these years, Metallica continues to dominate. It was announced last week that their September 2nd show in Madison is completely sold out. How crazy is that?! We just announced the show a few weeks ago on KRNA, and already tickets are gone.

The venue in Madison is the Kohl Center. The maximum capacity for the building is about 17,000. The arena is located on the southwest corner of the UW-Madison campus, at the intersection of West Dayton and North Frances Streets.

If you still want to see Metallica, the Minneapolis show is still showing tickets available. That performance is two days after the Wisconsin show, on September 4th. From the 94.1 KRNA studios, Minneapolis is a quick 4 hour drive. The concert will take place at the Target Center in the heart of downtown Minneapolis.

I've seen Metallica 12 times. It's always a killer show. So many hits and the band hasn't lost a step. I sure hope I can see them sometime on this tour.

But I won't be seeing them in Madison on September 2nd........because I waited to long to get my tickets.
