Maynard James Keenan Teases Upcoming Book

Tool will appear at the Monster Mash music festival in Tempe, Arizona on Halloween. That's it. No real news on the next Tool album. May 2016 will mark the 10-year anniversary of the band's last album, 10,000 Days.  But front man, Maynard James Keenan isn't just sitting around.  We should see an authorized biography from Keenan some time next year.

Keenan told Rolling Stone magazine that fans shouldn't expect "kiss-and-tell crap". He's working on the book with a longtime friend, writer/editor Sarah Jensen. The singer also refers to the book as more of a “semi-autobiography”, with his own "sidebars" throughout that are meant to expand on the story.  Hopefully we'll have it in our greedy little hands by Fall 2016.
