The Dead Weather have already unveiled four cuts from their upcoming Dodge and Burn. Now, they’ve shared a fifth, “Mile Markers,” along with Jack Lawrence’s bass tips.

The new song arrives as a part of a four-part video series in which each member of the Dead Weather dives into instrument and playing techniques. Last week, Jack White talked drums in the first installment, which can be viewed at the bottom of the page (via Modern Drummer). Today (Sept. 16), in a second video for Mojo, Lawrence gets into the weeds of his bass-playing before premiering the latest Dodge and Burn track, “Mile Markers.” Check it out at the top of the page.

“Mile Markers” joins “Too Bad” and “Buzzkill(er),” which arrived even before we knew the Dead Weather comeback album was in the works. Since Dodge and Burn’s announcement, White, Lawrence, Alison Mosshart and Dean Fertita have also shared “I Feel Love (Every Million Miles)” and “Cop and Go.”

Dodge and Burn will land in stores in slightly more than a week on Sept. 25 via Third Man Records. It follows 2010's Sea of Cowards.
