Central City is under the spotlight this week for the annual Linn County Fair. Musical memories have been forged over the years down on the track. It's always been a great stop for concert goers in Eastern Iowa.

In 2013, Alien Ant Farm was flood-postponed, but made good last summer..

Candlebox was one of my favorites. Back in 2009 they played in front of 1800 people and Lead Singer Kevin Martin was nice enough to stop out and say hello to the fans before the show. What a great, underrated band.

Before they broke up, Singer Josey Scott and Saliva stopped in to CC and jammed in 2011. I remember talking to Josey before the show and he said he and his wife LOVED living out on the road. He said tour buses are so comfortable, they just basically stayed out all the time and returned to Memphis just to stock the bus.

This year, AC/DC tribute band Hells Bells will grace the Linn County Fair stage on Thursday night. Opening act Framing The Red. Congrats to all of our on-air and online ticket winners.

Here's the official site for The Linn County Fair. I'll broadcast live on Thursday across the lunch hour to get you ready for the show and to show off all the great features of the fair. It's always free gate and parking. Kids Day on Thursday is always a big hit.

See you Sunday at the IPW wrestling event at Noon. We are CC-bound this week!
