Lightning Strikes A Little Too Close For Comfort [VIDEO]

When I say “I like storms”, I mean I like storms from a distance. We’re getting to that time of year that brings thunderstorms, tornadoes, thunder and lightning. I love being outside watching the clouds darken and the temperatures nosedive 20 degrees in one hour as a big storm front closes in. But there’s a fine line between an appreciation for a good show from Mother Nature and all out danger.

A lightning bolt can contain up to 1 billion volts of electricity. That’s Billion. With a “B”. When I say I like storms, I in no way mean I’d like to view a lightning strike up close and personal. Check out this cool, yet scary video below. I wonder if this guy downloaded in his pants?
