KRNA Listeners Want Classic Rock at Jones County Fair

Dear Jones County Fair,

We know everyone loves country stars like Jason Aldean. And no one will argue that Keith Urban plays a mean guitar solo. But if you listen closely...you may recognize his solo is an old classic rock song!

So would you please consider bringing more classic rock to the JCF stage next summer?

Face it, everyone loves classic rock! It's the soundtrack of our lives and we'd love for the Jones County Fair to bring a few more classic rock acts in the coming years.

Is it really that surprising that Ted Nugent played to a sold-out crowd opening for Kid Rock last week at JCF?

KRNA listeners have made their voices heard. In a recent KRNA Page Facebook post, these five touring bands got the most upvotes:

Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Journey, Bon Jovi, Queen, Poison and REO Speedwagon.

Hundreds of KRNA listeners suggested lots of possibilities including Bob Seger, Metallica, ZZ Top, Kiss ,Iron Maiden, Doobie Bros. Ozzy, Styx, Sammy Hagar and dozens of others.

So how about it, JCF? Do you think you could book a little bit more rock n roll?
