It pays to click into the 94 Zone here at krna.com. Corey Stackhouse of Cedar Rapids did just that and won season tickets to the Cedar Rapids Titans games at U.S. Cellular Center. Corey said he's a big Roughriders fan, but had never been to a Titans game. Now he gets to see them all for free!

Coach Stoute has another great group of players this year, many of whom return from last season's playoff team. Tonights' home opener pits our Titans against the Nebraska Danger. My friend Gil Fishman and his band Cheese Pizza will play a free concert after the game.

This will be the team's 4th season and second in on Cell Center turf. I've had the pleasure of seeing all the home games from my Public Address Announcer booth. I always tell people who haven't seen an IFL game to be ready for lots of scoring and high-speed action. These are great athletes, some of which have played in the big leagues. Most were stars at the college level and have aspirations to break into pro ball.

Heritage ballplayers like Bryan Pray, Xavie Jackson, Big Mo Robinson and Carl Sims are joined by some promising newcomers including former Iowa Hawkeyes B.J. Lowrey and Jordan Cotton.

My broadcast brethren Rob Brooks and Jerry Kiwala join me behind the mic on the other side of the arena and do a nice job at each Titans game. This was a great game from last year when we battled Green Bay.

I can't wait to get to the arena tonight. See you there! And, if you see Corey Stackhouse in the stands, congratulate him on his season tickets. There's another guy who won't miss a down!
