Kernels Blow Out Quad Cities in Season Opener

Baseball is back! The Cedar Rapids Kernels opened up their 2016 season at Veterans Memorial Stadium on Thursday night (4/7).  Admittedly, it wasn't ideal baseball weather, but the Kernels managed to defeat the Quad Cities River Bandits, 12-4.

To add to the excitement of the new season, the Kernels will host the Midwest League All-Star Game on Tuesday, June 21st!
