I hate hunting.

I won't mince words when it comes to that topic. So I was really happy to see this segment from Jimmy Kimmel's show last night. It's making the rounds on social media, and it's great.

I won't explain the whole segment to you (I'd recommend just watching it), but this all revolves around a Minneapolis-based dentist, Walter J. Palmer, who traveled to Zimbabwe to hunt and kill a lion. The lion, named Cecil, was lured out of the sanctuary of a protected park where Palmer then shot him with a crossbow. But that crossbow shot didn't kill him. So Cecil suffered for 40 hours until the hunters finally tracked him down and shot him with a gun. Are you sick yet?

Kimmel took off on both Palmer and the idea that some people actually find this sort of activity entertaining. Here's one excerpt:

“But if you’re some a-hole dentist who wants a lion’s head over the fireplace of his man cave so his douchebag buddies can gather around and drink scotch and tell him how awesome he is, that’s vomitous.”

Preach, Jimmy!
