Jaymz To Take Part In Sobriety Experiment Live On The Air

I've always wanted to know, how many drinks does it take until I'm intoxicated? When I say intoxicated, I mean, over the legal limit to drive a vehicle. There's been a number of times I left the bar after "just a few drinks," and I felt okay to drive. But when I thought about it later, I realized I may have actually been over the limit.

On Wednesday, September 27th, The KRNA Morning Show will TEST THE BREATHALYZER. That's right, I'll be getting drunk on the air just like Johnny Fever did many years ago on WKRP in Cincinnati. I plan to start drinking when the show starts at 6:00 a.m. We have a Cedar Rapids Police Officer that will be on hand to administer sobriety tests every half hour..... I'm not sure I'm ready for this!

Drinking and driving is a very serious problem. In 2016, over 80 people across the state of Iowa were killed in alcohol-related accidents. I'm hoping this experiment will help people understand that buzzed driving can be just as dangerous as drunk driving.
