To all of our loyal KRNA listeners, we need your help! "Weekend Warrior" Brian Sines and I have been invited to raise some money for charity. We have been asked to take part in a guest bartending challenge by local Williamsburg celebrities Dan Lillis and Jessica Hlubek. They think they can raise more cash than us. That's not happening. But like I said, we need your help!

It's all happening this Friday, December 8th, at Sundown Bar & Grill in Williamsburg. Both teams start bartending at 6 p.m. We'll count the tips a few hours  later, and find out who's the winner! I almost forgot to mention, ALL proceeds will be distributed locally with the help of the LOVE Network.

It's all part of the 3rd annual 'Give-Till-It-Hurts Benefit.' On Friday, we'll be accepting donations of non-perishable food, unwrapped toys, gift cards and cash.

Sundown owner John Donahue was brainstorming with Dan Lillis on a way to make an actual impact in the Williamsburg community. Both believe that no child should wake up on Christmas with nothing under the tree and that no family should struggle to make a meal. This is where the idea for 'Give Till It Hurts' came about. The event has really snowballed and both John and Dan have been blown away by the generosity of the community.

This year, Sundown has issued a challenge to local business to step up and match or exceed each other's cash donation. Everyone is hoping to double the donations from last year.

Donations can be dropped off at Sundown Bar & Grill in Williamsburg starting at 11 a.m. this Friday, December 8th. At 6 p.m., the real fun begins with the guest bartending challenge. Bring plenty of tipping money, and remember, all donations go right back the community.

Please join us in helping 'Give-Till-It-Hurts!'
