Jack White hits the big Four-Oh today! The musician/producer/occasional actor is a prolific creator. His resume includes The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, The Dead Weather, and a successful solo career. His latest solo album is 2014's Lazaretto (check out the video for the title track below).

White was born "John Anthony Gillis" on July 9, 1975 in Detroit, Michigan.  He was the youngest of ten children.  He met his future wife and White Stripes bandmate, Meg White when he was a senior in high school.  The pair would divorce in 2000, but would accomplish international fame and success before the band officially disbanded in 2011.

White has continued to be a creative force in the years since the Stripes.  He currently calls Nashville home, and has a record label there called Third Man Records.
