It’s Officially Girl Scout Cookie Season in Eastern Iowa!

It's time to pre-order your cookies!

According to the "Find Cookies" page of the official Girl Scouts website, Girl Scout Cookie sales have officially begun in the state of Iowa! The Girl Scouts of America is an amazing organization, one that I was a member of for many years. That means my love for Girl Scout Cookies started VERY early, back when I was just a Daisy. My favorites are Tagalongs, Samoas, and Do-si-dos, but I do love me a Thin Mint from time to time (especially if they're frozen).

As of today, you can now pre-order cookies from your local Girl Scouts, but from what I've been told, sales in grocery stores and other public places won't' begin until February. Also, there is a brand new cookie for sale this year (or cookieS rather) that are s'mores-flavored! There are two different varieties, depending on where you live in the U.S. I'm not sure which one is available in Eastern Iowa, so if there are any Girl Scout moms out there who can let us know, that would be greatly appreciated!
