Iowans Play ‘Pop The Pig’ to Prep for BaconFest [VIDEO]

Get pumped Cedar Rapidians -- BaconFest is back! We're pretty excited about it. The bacon will be sizzling from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at NewBo City Market on Saturday, September 24. That's right around the corner!

To get prepped for all of the bacony goodness, these Iowans decided to get their little pork friend poppin' and play 'Pop The Pig'! If you haven't heard of or played this game before, you basically just take turns filling the pig with cheeseburgers (hopefully they're not bacon cheeseburgers because that'd be a little weird). Then, you push the pig's head down as many times as the number labeled on the bottom of each burger. Eventally, when the pig has had enough -- he'll pop! Make sense?
