University of Iowa Selected As One of The Most Fun Colleges
Now here's some news that's not very shocking to us Hawkeye fans: Hawkeyes know how to have fun!
A new report from Business Insider looked at The Princeton Review's most recent rankings of colleges and universities from across the nation and decided to rank them on a "fun" scale, choosing the top 30 schools. Guess which University showed up at #3 on the list? You guessed it: The University of Iowa.
Before you go thinking it's all about the continuous "Top Party School" and related rankings, that's not all they looked at. They also reviewed the quality of life, school pride, Greek system, sporting attendance, and more.
School spirit is ingrained in the culture at the University of Iowa, and students turn out in droves to support the Hawkeyes. Students looking to get into the action themselves can take advantage of the school's rec center, which sponsors hiking, kayaking, and rock-climbing trips.
The only schools beating us out were Tulane (in the heart of New Orleans) and University of Illinois?? That means we also beat out Wisconsin (sorry Badgers) and Penn State. Iowa State and Northern Iowa did not make the list.
