Iowa Student Claims Misconduct from University Police After Revealing His YouTube Video

Iowa student Grayson Scogin recently released the video below, claiming misconduct on the part of the University Of Iowa Police. In the self-narration, Scogin describes walking home and being roughed up by the police for what he deemed "no reason." He does not immediately stop when asked to, but the man claims he wasn't doing anything wrong and didn't feel he needed to.

The video has more than 20,000 hits, with a variety of viewer comments. Scogin says he has legal representation and wants to take the case to trial. The University had no comment. What do you think? Was this a neccessary "take-down" or do you think it crossed the line?
