Update: Iowa State Coach Fred Hoiberg announced at a 4 pm press conference that he has suspended Bryce Dejean-Jones for tomorrow night's game against the Hawkeyes, saying he believes it's the best move for Bryce and the team.

Update: Drug-related charges have been dropped against Iowa State basketball player Bryce Dejean-Jones after a Story County judge ruled Ames police did not have probable cause to arrest him.

Iowa State's second-leading scorer this season, Bryce DeJean-Jones, has been arrested for ‘hosting a drug house-marijuana,’ according to the Story County website. He also faces charges of nuisance party regulations and a noise violation. Geoff Huff, Ames police spokesman, reports Dejean-Jones was arrested at approximately 3 o'clock this morning and is being held on $1600 bond.

The 22 year-old DeJean-Jones played previously at USC & UNLV. He's the second-leading scorer for the Cyclones this season, averaging 17.1 points per game, second to George Niang's 18 per contest. He also averages seven rebounds and three assists a game.

Iowa State Head Men's Basketball coach Fred Hoiberg originally scheduled a press conference for 1:15 this afternoon, but that has since been moved to 4 pm. Iowa State visits Iowa Friday for a 7 pm game on the Big Ten Network.
