The Iowa men's basketball team starts conference play tonight in Iowa City. The Hawks will battle Michigan starting at 6 p.m. If you don't feel like battling the cold weather, you can view the game on ESPN 2.

Michigan is 11-3 overall and has a 1-1 conference record. Iowa enters the game with a 9-6 overall record and are 0-2 in the Big Ten. Michigan is a 2 point favorite, and the OVER/UNDER is set at 142.

The Hawkeyes are currently on a 5-game winning streak. In those 5 victories, Tyler Cook has dunked the ball nine times including a season-best six in Iowa's game against Drake. Fran McCaffery is just three victories from reaching 400 as a head coach.

After a rough start, this Iowa team has really showed signs of improvement. Conference play is always the true test. Let's hope for a good showing tonight against Michigan.
