The Iowa men's basketball team kicks off league play tonight on the road. The Hawks will be at #15 Purdue. A tough road game to be sure. Fortunately, they'll get some help in the return of freshman star Tyler Cook.

Iowa coach Fran McCaffery hasn't stated whether Cook will start for Iowa, but said he would play starter minutes. Cook has missed the past seven games after suffering a broken finger. Iowa has won five straight games heading into league play.

The Hawks swept the season series last year against the Boilermakers. Tonight's Big Ten opener is being televised by the Big Ten Network. Tip is just after 7:30 p.m. Go Hawkeyes!
