[UPDATE] WQAD reports a Henry County Sheriff's Deputy says the body of Spencer Ray Adam has been found. No other information is available at this time.

[ORIGINAL STORY] An Iowa man is still missing after an abandoned snowmobile was found in southeast Iowa.

Authorities of Henry County, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, and the Iowa DNR are all searching for 25-year-old Spencer Ray Adam of Richland. According to a KWQC report, the Henry County Sheriff's Office was notified of the missing driver just before 2 a.m. this morning (January 14). Sometime around 3 a.m.officials had located a snowmobile near Skunk River and Highway 34 Bridge (see map). This area is just south of Rome, Iowa in western Henry County.

The snowmobile was associated with Adam, but he was nowhere in sight. Authorities will continue their search for the missing snowmobile driver near the river area, according to KTVO.
