The Iowa City Police Department is seeking the public's help after a man tried to get a group of juveniles to get into his vehicle in a city park Saturday night.

According to a press release, Iowa City Police were called to Wetherby Park at about 8:20 Saturday night, August 20. A group of juveniles said they were in the park when a vehicle, they described as a white truck, approached them. The vehicle was occupied by one person, described as a Hispanic male. He reportedly told the juveniles to get into his vehicle. They then left the park and were not harmed. Wetherby Park is located at 2400 Taylor Drive in Iowa City.

Iowa City Police officers were unable to locate the vehicle and the incident remains under investigation. The department is asking for the public's help.
