A win is a win.  Even if it's ugly.  The Hawkeyes went into their Valentine's Day match-up having to feel pretty good about their chances.  The Hawks were going for their 20th win of the season and looking to bounce back after a disappointing loss to Indiana on Thursday night.  Minnesota, on the other hand, entered Sunday's game with a 6-18 record, and had lost their last 13 straight.  Turns out the Hawks may have gotten more than they bargained for on Sunday evening, but they still managed a 75-71 victory.

Jarrod Uthoff was held scoreless for nearly 17 minutes to open the game, but finished with 24 points, 15 rebounds and six blocked shots to help the highly-ranked Hawkeyes avoid the upset.  Next up for Iowa is a trip to Pennsylvania on Wednesday night (2/17) to take on the Nittany Lions.
