Hy-Vee has partnered with HACAP to help those in need after the big storm that hit Eastern Iowa on Monday.

According to CBS2, "Snacks and beverages will be donated to storm victims in the Cedar Rapids area on Thursday, August 13th and Friday August 14th."

Hy-Vee will be traveling around in the "Health You Mobile" for the next two days. Look for the mobile unit traveling through neighborhoods from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days.

On Friday, August 14th, there will also be supplies at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Cedar Rapids. The time will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The stadium is located at 950 Rockford Road on the SW side of town.

Hy-Vee has partnered with HACAP on this project. In total, around $68,000 in food and drink will be donated. That includes 140,000 bottles of water and 80,000 protein and granola

I think this is a great promotion and super cool of both Hy-Vee and HACAP. There are a lot of folks out there in need of assistance and sometimes it's the little things that mean the most.
