Get ready, condiment lovers: a new option could be coming to a grocery store near you! Heinz has a product that is currently only available in parts of the Middle East, but you can decide if you want it here in the U.S. That product is called "Mayochup."

Now, if you're thinking that "Mayochup" sounds a like a mix of mayo and ketchup, you're absolutely correct. Heinz has combined the two in an official capacity and they are thinking about bringing it to America. If you want it here, though, you need to vote in their poll on Twitter. A couple of days ago, the official Heinz Ketchup Twitter page posted a Tweet that reads:

"Want in stores? 500,000 votes for “yes” and we’ll release it to you saucy Americans."

As of the time I'm writing this, there are close to 700,000 votes in the poll, but people seem to be split pretty evenly on the issue. 55% answered, "Pass the Heinz Mayochup," while 45% answered, "Nah, I'll make my own." There are only two days left of voting.

I guess I'm just wondering if this is a product that anybody actually needs. Most people already have ketchup and mayo in their fridge already, so why spend money on another condiment when you could make your own? Unless they have somehow found the perfect mayo to ketchup ratio, I just don't get it. The combination doesn't sound BAD to me, but I dip everything that you would dip in Mayochup in ranch, so I don't really care either way.

What do you think about Mayochup? Let us know in the comments!
