Holiday DeLight Parade This Weekend

Melissa McCarville visited the 94.1 KRNA studios Wednesday morning. Melissa works at the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance. She was here to talk about the Holiday DeLight Parade in Downtown CR this weekend!

According to Melissa, "The Holiday DeLight Parade is one of the few lighted parades in the area with each entry creatively lit to bring the holiday cheer!" The 33rd annual parade starts on Sixth Street SE and Third Avenue SE. Over 70 bright and colorful entries will be a part of this wonderful holiday event.

The parade is this Saturday, December 3rd, beginning at 6:00 p.m. I will be driving the KRNA vehicle, I need to hit the car wash and find some decorations this week!

There is a "Post Parade Reindeer Games Party" at Hazzard County immediately after the parade. This event will feature prizes and an appearance by the Bud Girls!
