Hawks Favored This Weekend Against Northwestern

Iowa travels to Evanston this weekend to take on the Northwestern Wildcats. The early point spread on the game has Iowa listed as a 10 point favorite. If you ask me, that number is too low. I like Iowa to win this one big!

Last week, Iowa failed to cover the 18-point spread against Purdue. On the year, the Hawks are 5-2 overall and 2-5 against the spread. Kick-off is set for 11 a.m. this Saturday and you can catch all of the action on ESPN 2.

Local bookmaker Dalton Clark told me last week was a winner for the his sports book. Clark said, "Most of Linn County had Iowa minus the points, it was a very, very  good day for us."

This Northwestern team isn't very good and I feel Iowa will win this one 40-10. This SHOULD be the breakout game the Hawks need to really get back on track.
