Legendary Candlebox frontman Kevin Martin is 45 today.

Ever since I rocked out to their eponymous CD in 1993, I've been locked in as a fan. Aside from a messy divorce from Madonna's Maverick record label, these guys have consistently released quality records.

As I said on the air today for the Real Rock Calendar - this song startled our KRNA Morning Rocker Jay Wells at the Rock 'N Roll Skybox one day. The melodic tones turn heavy midway through "It's Alright" from the amazing "Happy Pills" CD. You've been warned.
