Yes, classic Cubs.  Not only did they get shut out by the Cardinals in the opener of the 2015 Major League Baseball season on Sunday night (April 5th), but apparently Wrigley Field was so-not-ready for the season that fans were relieving themselves in cups.  Yes, not only are the historic bleachers temporarily out of commission and under re-construction, but some restrooms were also down and out due to renovation.  Being a Cubs fan, as I have been since 1984, is often times an embarrassing endeavor.

Other reports have stated that all the construction in and around Wrigley have led to rats scurrying out of the stadium and into the surrounding Wrigleyville neighborhoods.  Maybe when all phases of this renovation are complete it will have been worth it?  For now, the Cubs look like a bunch of amateurs, especially when going head-to-head with a top-of-the-line organization like the Cardinals.
