The Ford Motor Company announced that it was recalling 81,000 SUVs to fix a suspension problem, and another 202,000 pickups, cars, and SUVs to repair a transmission flaw.

The suspension defect, which affects 2014-15 Ford Explorers and Police Interceptor SUVs has been linked to one crash and an injury. The suspension issues affect the 2011-12 F-150, 2012 Ford Expedition, Ford Mustangs built in Michigan from August 2011 through February 2012, and 2012 Lincoln Navigators built in Kentucky from August of 2011 through December of 2011.

Ford says it will reimburse dealers as they provide repairs to Ford owners at no cost.
