Foo Fighters are ramping up to a big 2014, and the first major announcement of the year is that the band will be among the headliners at the 2014 Firefly Music Festival.

The band will join the reunited OutKast and Jack Johnson as headliners for the three-day event, which runs June 19-22 at Dover International Speedway in Delaware. Other bands of note on the bill include Imagine Dragons, Cage the Elephant, Arctic Monkeys, Young the Giant and a host of alt-rock favorites like The Lumineers, Weezer, Band of Horses, Local Natives and more.

Foo Fighters played a couple of shows in Mexico City in December, marking their first dates in more than a year. The band spent the early part of 2013 helping Dave Grohl promote his 'Sound City' film, while the latter portion of the year found the group returning to the studio to work on new music. At present, the Firefly Music Festival is the first date for the band in 2014, though it's expected they'll be a popular choice as more events reveal their lineups.
