Fall Out Boy will embark on a new tour in the spring of 2024, and this time there's an Iowa stop!

"Due to overwhelming demand, GRAMMY Award-nominated and multi-platinum selling rock band Fall Out Boy’s worldwide So Much For (Tour) Dust tour will continue next year with the announcement of So Much For (2our) Dust, a 20+ date run across the United States."

That's what the concert listing says on the Wells Fargo Arena website, which is where Fall Out Boy will be playing when they hit Iowa on Wednesday, April 3rd of 2024. The Des Moines concert will also feature opening acts Jimmy Eat World, Hot Mulligan, and CARR.

Fall Out Boy is a pop-punk/emo band that first found success in the early 2000s. Their first album, Take This to Your Grave debuted in 2003, but it was their second that gave them their breakthrough. According to Wikipedia, 2005's From Under the Cork Tree produced two hit singles: "Sugar, We're Goin Down" and "Dance, Dance." The band's most recent release is So Much (for) Stardust, which officially dropped in March of 2023. They also released a new, updated version of Billy Joel's 1989 hit "We Didn't Start the Fire."

Tickets for Fall Out Boy's tour will go on sale to the public next Friday, September 15th at 10 a.m., but there is a presale on Wednesday, September 13th at 10 a.m. To get access to the presale code, you can sign up for the official mailing list HERE.
