Easter is this weekend and if you're looking for ways to help the kids celebrate, a website called Corridor Parents provides a schedule of Easter egg hunts and activities for kids and families.

 

  • Spring Fling

    On Tuesday, April 11, the Cedar Rapids Salvation Army is holding its Spring Fling. From 4-6 p.m., the free event includes activities ranging from crafts to cookie decorating and of course, a visit from the Easter bunny. The Salvation Army is located at 1000 C Ave. NW in Cedar Rapids.

  • Amana Heritage Museum Easter Egg Hunt

    On Saturday, April 15, starting at 9 a.m., the Amana Heritage Museum, located at 705 44th Avenue in Amana, will be a holding a good old fashioned traditional Easter egg hunt and visit from the Easter Bunny.   • Hiawatha Easter Egg Hunt

    Hiawatha's Easter egg hunt takes place, free of charge on Saturday, April 15th, from 9-9:30 a.m. at Guthridge Park, 704 Emmons St. in Hiawatha. This event has a Facebook page with more information.

  • Easter Celebration at the Playstation

    Visit the Playstation, 200 Collins Rd. NE in Cedar Rapids from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 15th for a full day of Easter fun. It starts with the Easter egg hunt at 10:15, followed by more games, arts and crafts, a visit from the Easter Bunny and more. Admission is $8 and you can check their Facebook page for more details.

  • Breakfast With The Easter Bunny at Bloomsbury Farm

    Bloomsbury Farm hosts a morning of games, breakfast and fun with the Easter Bunny on Saturday, April 15th, from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Various 30 to 45-minute timeslots are available and more information along with tickets are available through the events page at KDAT.com. Bloomsbury Farm is located at 3260 69th St. in Atkins.
