Dubuque Man Assaults Friend With Golf Club Over Stolen Cigarettes

According to KWWL, "A Dubuque man faces five charges after assaulting his friend with a golf club over stolen cigarettes."

The man with the golf club is 21-year-old Robert Robey. This fella has quite a temper and it appears he's an avid golfer. Robey was sitting around with a few buddies on Monday night. They were drinking, smoking and using meth.... What could go wrong?

Well, apparently things got a little crazy at the end of the night. One of the gentleman at the party stole two cigarettes from Robey. He was angry, so he threw a punch and then attacked his friend with a golf club. The story also noted that Robey threatened to cut off the man's fingers if he didn't return the smokes.

What the hell is going on in Dubuque? This is another reason to SAY NO TO DRUGS. Robert Robey is now facing a laundry list of charges.
