Deftones Frontman To Perform In A Volcano (VIDEO)

Let me say that for you one more time... yes, Deftones singer Chino Moreno will play a solo acoustic set inside a volcano on Saturday (June 18th). The Deftones are in Iceland to perform at the Secret Solstice Festival in the city of Reykjavík. Radiohead is another huge act that will be there this weekend. While there, Moreno will perform an intimate show that has been dubbed "Secret Solstice Presents Inside The Volcano." It will be the first time an artist has performed publicly inside a volcano. There are just 20 lucky ticket holders... well "lucky" if they don't end up wearing some lava.

Moreno and the fans will be lowered 400 feet into the volcano. It last erupted around 4,000 years ago. Deftones are in Iceland for the first time ever in support of their album, Gore.
