Philip Anselmo's Housecore Horror Film Festival just got a lot more rocking. The organizers have revealed that Glenn Danzig will provide a collaborative Danzig and Samhain set at this year's event, which is set to run the weekend of Oct. 23-26 in Austin, Texas.

Anselmo says, “Glenn has taken me under his (black) wings since I was a young upstart in the music (horror) business and he’s a cool mofo!” Danzig, who has enjoyed a distinguished career in horror-themed bands such as Samhain, the Misfits and his self-titled band, is the perfect addition to the event.

And he's not the only one heading to Emo's in Austin for the Housecore Horror bash. Neurosis, Decapitated, comedian Brian Posehn, King Parrot, Lustmord, Hobbs' Angel of Death and more have also joined the event. A few of Anselmo's associates are also playing the festival as Down's Pat Bruders is bringing Gasmiasma and Philip H. Anselmo and the Illegals' Marzi Montazeri will play with Heavy as Texas. Plus, Skan, Child Bite Chant, an Images of Violence reunion and Dead Earth Politics have also signed on.

They join a bill that already included Satyricon, Eyehategod, Cattle Decapitation, Macabre, Unearth, Portal, Warbeast, Ringworm, Wizards of Gore, KEN mode, Acid Witch, Evil United, Fulgora and more.

Plus, Lamb of God's Randy Blythe will be on hand for a live interview after a screening of 'As the Palaces Burn.' The rocker will also be a presenter at the Housecore Horror Film Festival's "Rotscars" ceremony.
