As we all know, the Chicago Cubs became World Series Champions this year! It was magical, and it ended the 108-year title drought. That's the good news....The bad news, season tickets are going to cost more next year.

According to WLS Chicago, "The team has confirmed that season ticket prices are going up an average of 19.5 percent for 2017."

Apparently, this is to pay for the new renovations at the stadium. I just think 19.5 percent is a bit high. I feel that about all professional sports. It seems to get worse every year. Everything is getting too expensive, I'm tired of it.

WLS reports, "Infield box seats will see the largest increase of 31 percent, bleachers are going up 22 percent."

I love the Cubs, but the Minnesota Twins are my favorite team. When I attend a game in Minneapolis, it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. But every game I saw last year, they lost. I guess you get what you pay for.
