Community-Wide Garage Sale Coming to Cedar Rapids in May

Cedar Rapids, are you ready? You can host a garage sale next month and the best part, you don't even have to pay to advertise your sale!

We're teaming up with Dupaco Community Credit Union for a Community-Wide Garage Sale in Cedar Rapids Saturday, May 14! Here's how it works:

Dupaco has partnered with KHAK to promote all garage sales within the community on May 14, FREE OF CHARGE.

Q: How do you host a sale?

A: If you'd like to host a garage sale on Saturday, May 14 click here to get started. You'll want to register your location, hours, and sale description for free. You can also register at any Dupaco branch location. Those who register their sale are also eligible to pick up a complimentary garage sale kit, available at Dupaco.

Q: How to shop the sales?

A: All registered garage sales will be included in a searchable shopper’s directory also accessible here and in the printed directory inside Cedar Rapids Gazette’s Penny Saver the week of the sale. Complimentary copies of the printed directory will also be available to the general public at Dupaco Cedar Rapids locations. It will include a map of registered locations as well as sale hours and descriptions.

Q: What is the deadline for appearing in the printed directory?

A: The deadline for registration to appear in the printed directory is Monday, May 2 at 5:00 p.m.
