City Bylaws May Force the Eviction of Sheldon the Pig
A couple in Ontario is going through a rough time. Their Vietnamese pot-bellied pig, Sheldon, is an undocumented resident. This is all because of a recent bylaw change that forbids the ownership of this type of pig without a special license.
The couple is in a unique situation. They took the ailing pig in to nurse it back to health and didn't expect it to survive. Now, Sheldon is as happy and as healthy as ever! And because of the complaints of a busybody neighbor, his caretakers are struggling with the city government for the right to keep him as a pet.
What do you think? Should the city make an exception for one seemingly-harmless pig?
